TIL my neighbor's 8 year old asked me why we still drive everywhere if the ice caps are melting
I was out in the driveway in Missoula last Tuesday scraping frost off my windshield when the kid from next door walked by and asked me that. I didn't have a good answer, just kind of mumbled something about errands. It made me think about how my own parents never once talked about carbon or emissions, and now an 8 year old is asking me point blank on a Tuesday morning. How do you all handle those questions from kids without sounding like a total hypocrite?
