Sawed through a Walmart bag at a farmers market and it actually made me stop buying produce wrapped in plastic
Was at the Sunday market in Portland and the guy at the mushroom stand handed me a paper bag instead of plastic... I had to admit my greens lasted 4 days longer at home. Anyone else find that plastic is just making our veggies rot faster?

Nah, plastic keeps moisture in and stops things from drying out. I've had way more luck with greens in those clamshells than loose in a paper bag.

... I mean it's a bag. You're putting veggies in a bag for a few hours on the way home, not storing them in it. If your greens are lasting 4 days longer that's probably more about how you store them at home than the bag they came in. Seems like people are taking a simple trip to the market way too seriously.
