Exactly. This is how real stuff gets fixed, not by buying some fancy new thing. You see it with people fixing old cars, patching up a house, even in a good kitchen. The smart move is almost always to connect and extend what you already have working. It's the opposite of our throwaway culture. A second barrel, a piece of hose, and you've solved it for good.
