My neighbor finally switched to a compost bin after I showed him my food scraps after just 2 weeks
He said 'I didn't realize it would be that easy' when I dumped out my coffee grounds and veggie peels into my tumbler, so has anyone else had success converting a skeptic with just a simple demo?

@patricialee my buddy tried this with his dad and the guy started composting the same weekend.

Is it really that deep though? I mean, you're just tossing old lettuce and coffee grounds into a barrel, it's not exactly rocket science. I've been doing it for months and honestly, the biggest hassle is remembering to actually turn the thing so it doesn't get all funky and smell like a swamp. My neighbor saw me doing it once and just said "neat" and walked away, so maybe your guy was just being polite.

@patricialee you make a good point maybe it is just dirt and scraps but then why do so many people overthink it
