Can we talk about how I finally stopped idling my car in the school pickup line?
For years I sat in that pickup line at Lincoln Elementary with my engine running for 20 minutes, burning gas just to keep the AC on. About 4 months ago I started turning the car off and cracking the windows instead, and I swear I fill up maybe once every 10 days now instead of once a week. My neighbor Deb rolled her eyes and said it wouldn't matter, but that's like 30 gallons a year I'm not burning anymore. Anyone else cut a small habit like this and actually stuck with it, or did you go back to old ways once winter hit?
