Bought a $60 "eco-friendly" dryer sheet pack and they barely did anything

I saw them at the natural foods store in Brooklyn and thought I was doing good for the planet. After 3 loads my clothes had more static than ever, so I wasted the whole box. Anyone find a zero waste option that actually works?

Joined you on that one. Bought a whole box of those natural wool dryer balls too and they just bounced around doing nothing while my socks stuck to everything like glue. Ended up throwing a vinegar soaked rag in there with them on the last cycle and it actually helped a bit. Still not perfect but better than tossing money at those expensive sheets.

Brought home one of those fancy electric dryers once and spent an hour trying to figure out why everything was still wet... turns out I forgot to plug it in. Realized it when my neighbor came over to borrow a cup of sugar and just stared at the cord laying there.
