Update: the city water meeting on Tuesday ran 4 hours and I'm still mad about it
So the city held a public comment meeting at the Riverside rec center Tuesday night about the new water rate hike, and they scheduled it from 6 to 8pm but it dragged on until almost 10. About 60 of us sat there while councilman Danvers kept saying they'd "circle back" to the 12 percent increase question and never actually answered it. My neighbor Rosa got up and asked why the rate jumps again in April, and they just handed her a pamphlet. Does anyone know if there's a recording posted somewhere, because I want to hear that part back before I write my email to the council.

Talked to my buddy Sal who tried calling the city clerk's office Wednesday and got told the recording won't be up til next week. He said they gave him the same runaround about "processing time" like it was some big secret.
