Took me 3 hours to find a parking spot near the farmer's market on Saturday

Everyone says park at the lot behind the library. I tried that and it was full. Then I circled the block 4 times. Ended up parking 6 blocks away and walking. Why does nobody talk about how the market setup blocks half the usual street parking? Has anyone else given up on driving there and just biked instead?

I started biking there last summer and it cut my trip time in half (honestly the best decision I made). The library lot is useless on Saturdays, but there's a bike rack right by the main entrance that's never full. Throw on a backpack for your haul and you're golden.

Squeeze that bike suggestion in because I tried biking once and almost got pancaked by an SUV trying to cut through the bike lane. I mean idk why the city thinks painting a white line on a pothole road counts as safe infrastructure. But honestly the library lot is a joke, it's like they think we all drive Smart cars. Maybe next time I'll just bring a lawn chair and wait for someone to leave, save myself the trouble of circling like a vulture.
