TIL the city chat on 311's site actually gets answered if you include the cross street
I use the city chat window on our 311 portal pretty often for stuff like busted streetlights near my place in Cincinnati, and for months I just typed the address and got nothing back. Last week I added the cross street and the nearest landmark, and a real person replied in 2 days with a work order number. Turns out the chat routes by intersection, so without the cross street it just sits in a pile with no map pin. I told two neighbors and they both got the same fast reply after they did it too. Anyone else notice the city chat works way better once you give it an intersection instead of just a street address?
