The crosswalk signal on 5th and Main has been broken for 2 months now

I walk that intersection every morning on my way to work. Last week I timed it and stood there for 4 minutes before I just crossed against the light. Has anyone else noticed this getting worse around town?

Oh man, the one by the old coffee shop has been flashing the walk signal nonstop for like three weeks. I just run across now and hope for the best, it's such a mess.

And that crossing is literally right next to the bus stop where kids wait every morning, which is probably why nobody's fixed it yet because fixing things for pedestrians is always last on the list. It's like once a crosswalk or signal breaks, the city just shrugs and moves on to something else, same way they let potholes get huge before patching them. Honestly I've noticed this everywhere lately, like basic infrastructure just gets abandoned the second it's not brand new anymore. Three weeks of a broken signal and nobody from the city has even driven by to see it, that's pretty standard for how they treat anything not for cars.
