That tip about soaking raw almonds overnight was a game changer for me

My neighbor Linda told me last month to soak almonds for at least 8 hours before eating them. Tried it with a batch from Costco and they actually taste way better and don't hurt my stomach anymore. Has anyone else found a simple food trick that actually works?

Started soaking my walnuts and pecans too after reading about phytic acid and it's been a total game changer for MY digestion as well. They get this creamy texture that's nothing like the hard bitter ones from the store. Makes you wonder what else we've been eating wrong our whole lives.

Read that soaking also cuts down on tannins which some people find bitter.
