My neighbor the landscaper told me to water my lawn at 5 AM instead of after work
He said watering in the evening causes fungus and morning water soaks in better before the sun hits it. I ignored him for two summers. This year my grass was half dead by August and his yard was perfect. I tried his way last month and the brown patches are already greening up. Anyone else get stubborn about yard advice from old-timers?

@jennys72 you got that right, what made you finally cave after three years? Was there a specific moment where you just snapped or was it more gradual? I'm asking cause I've got a buddy who's been ignoring the same advice for almost a decade now and I'm trying to figure out what might actually get through to him.
