Can we talk about how the new app killed my neighborhood group chat
Our block group in Minneapolis moved from plain old group texts to that new city alert app back in April, and now maybe 4 people post instead of the usual 30. The old thread had a rhythm, someone spotted a loose dog, someone else had a plumber, done. The app sorts everything into categories and tags, so by the time you find the right folder the dog is home and the plumber is booked. Did switching platforms wreck anyone else's block chat or did yours survive the move?
