Last Tuesday I pulled 14 pounds of creosote out of one flue in Worcester, worst clog in 6 seasons
Turned out the homeowner had been burning green poplar for 2 winters straight, so I showed her the glaze line on the tile and asked what she'd been putting in the box, has anyone else seen buildup that bad from unseasoned wood alone?
