Just cleaned my 100th chimney of the year and the number hit me hard

I was logging the job in my book last night and saw the count. One hundred. It's not just a number, it's a hundred homes, a hundred fireplaces, a hundred safety checks. The one that got me was a house over on Maple, a real old build. The flue liner was cracked in three places. Owner had no idea, said they used it all last winter. That's a hundred chances to stop a bad fire before it starts. Makes you think about the weight of the job, you know? Not just cleaning soot. How many chimneys do you folks usually get through in a year? Is 100 a lot or pretty normal?

It's wild how many jobs are like that, quietly keeping things safe. You see it with electricians finding bad wiring or mechanics spotting worn brakes. That unseen work holds everything together.

My IT job is just making sure jason_murphy27's coffee maker doesn't start a fire.
