Heard a guy at the hardware store in Springfield say he never uses a camera for inspections

He was buying a new brush and told his buddy that a mirror on a pole is all you need, calling cameras a waste of money. I always thought my inspection camera was essential, but it made me think about how many sweeps managed fine without them for decades. Has anyone else switched back to a basic mirror for a quicker first look?

Oh the "saved me from callbacks" line is too real. My camera roll is basically a crime scene log of pre-move-out damage, @lisa749. I have a whole folder of that weird stain on the carpet from move-in day and fifteen angles of a chipped countertop. The leasing office tries to act shocked and I just slide my phone over like a lawyer presenting evidence.
