TIL that Taco Bell's bean burrito is actually cheaper per ounce than their value menu items
I was looking at the Taco Bell app last night comparing prices and noticed the bean burrito is $1.49 for like 6 ounces, but their $1.00 spicy potato taco is only 2.5 ounces. The bean burrito gives you way more food for just 49 cents more. Has anyone else done the math on what's actually the best deal there?

Oh @zarar67 gets it, but nobody mentions the fiesta potatoes are legit the best calorie per dollar at $1.79 too.

Wait are people actually buying the spicy potato taco for $1 when the bean burrito is right there? That's crazy to me because I checked the app too and the bean burrito is basically double the food for pocket change more. You can get TWO bean burritos for under $3 and that's a legit meal right there. People sleep on the bean burrito because it sounds boring but it's the best value on the whole menu honestly. I always grab one when I'm hungry and don't want to spend a bunch of money on food that won't fill me up.

Man the bean burrito is totally underrated, I've been saying this for years. But honestly I can't talk because I'm the guy who pays $1.49 for the spicy potato taco just because I like the crunch and can't handle the texture of beans sometimes. My taste buds are clearly not optimized for value.
