Spent 45 minutes at a Wendy's in Columbus arguing with the app about a $4 Frosty key tag
I know this sounds dumb, but the Wendy's app would not let me add a Frosty key tag to my order last Tuesday and it ate up almost my whole lunch break. The tag is $3 and you get a free small Frosty with any purchase for a year, so it pays for itself in like two visits. I tried adding it at the kiosk, then on my phone, then the cashier told me the tag only works if you buy it by itself first, but when I did that the app wanted a $2.49 minimum purchase. I drove to a second location on High Street and the guy there just rang it up for me with a $1 fries, no problem. The whole thing took 45 minutes I did not have, and I still ate my cold burger in the truck. Has anyone else had an app block a cheap deal over some weird minimum, or am I just bad at this?
