Pro tip: quit ordering the #1 combo and do the math on the value menu instead
Grabbed lunch at the McDonald's on 5th in Des Moines last week and the #1 combo rang up $9.87, which barely fits the under ten buck rule. Then I added it up, a McDouble, small fries, and a drink off the value menu comes to $4.60 for basically the same meal. Been overpaying for a combo number my whole life just out of habit. Anyone else do the value menu math or am I the last one to catch on?
