Had a gas station burrito in Tucson last month that nearly put me in the ER
Picked up a $3.99 breakfast burrito from a Shell station near the airport around 6am and by noon I was throwing up in a dirt lot off I-10. Anyone else had a bad run with those pre-wrapped hot case items?

Grabbed one of those from a Circle K outside Phoenix last year and regretted it about 90 minutes later. My stomach was doing backflips for the rest of the day, swore off gas station breakfast forever after that. You're not alone on that one, those hot case burritos are a gamble every single time.

Ended up camping the next few days on pepto bismol and crackers after a similar experience in New Mexico. The gas station taquitos got me good, learned my lesson about anything that's been sitting under those heat lamps for more than an hour. Now I just stick to sealed snacks like chips or beef jerky if I'm desperate on a road trip, never worth the gamble lol.
