Gas station sushi gamble backfired on me in Memphis last night

I was driving through Memphis around midnight and stopped at a BP that had a sushi cooler inside. I know the general rule is never trust gas station sushi, but it was under $6 and I was starving so I grabbed a spicy tuna roll. About 20 minutes down the road I felt my stomach start doing somersaults and I had to pull over at a Waffle House parking lot real quick. Spent the next hour in their bathroom praying no one needed to use it. I ended up just throwing the rest of the roll away and eating a pack of crackers from my glovebox instead. So my question is... have any of you actually had gas station sushi work out okay for you? Or am I just the latest victim of a bad idea everyone knows better than to try?

And here I thought my gas station sushi story was bad. You made it to a bathroom, I didn't. Had to explain to a Waffle House waitress why I was crying in their parking lot at 2am. At least your crackers were a solid backup plan.
