Gas station burrito finally clicked after a stranger told me to microwave it backwards
I've been eating those roller grill burritos for years, always just nuking them straight from the wrapper. Some guy at a Shell station in Phoenix last week watched me do it and said 'you're doing it wrong, flip it over halfway.' Tried it with a bacon egg and cheese one and the middle was actually hot, not just warm. Has anyone else gotten random cooking tips from strangers at gas stations?

Dude that's wild but it makes so much sense! It's funny how we all just follow the default way of doing things without ever asking if there's a better way, like microwaving instructions or tying your shoes. Once you learn one little trick it opens up a whole new world of efficiency you didn't even know you were missing.

Wait, wait - you're telling me there's a better way to tie my shoes? I've been doing the bunny ears thing since kindergarten and I'm 34 now. That's almost 30 years of inefficient shoelacing that I could have saved time on? My mind is honestly blown right now because I never once questioned the method my dad showed me in 1995. How many hours have I wasted just lacing up boots and sneakers the slow way? What's the trick?
