TIL my grocery bill dropped to $41 a week when I started cooking one big pot on Sundays
I used to grab whatever looked good at the store every couple days and somehow spend $90 to $110 a week without thinking about it. Three months ago I started making one huge pot of something cheap on Sunday, like lentil soup or bean chili, and eating it for lunches and a couple dinners. Last week I added it all up at the register and my total was $41.23. The weird part is I am not even sick of the food, I just freeze half so it feels different. What is your go to one pot meal that actually keeps you full?
