Store brand pasta is BETTER than name brand and I can prove it with numbers

I tracked my dinner costs for 3 months in my little notebook and discovered that switching to the store brand dried pasta from Food Lion actually saved me $14.60 over that time. Plus I did a blind taste test with my roommate and we BOTH picked the store brand linguine over the Barilla. Has anyone else noticed that the cheap pasta actually holds up better in leftovers the next day?

My coworker swears by the Food Lion brand too but he says their spaghetti noodles turn to mush in soup, so I stick to name brand for soups.

Just don't overcook em and they hold up fine honestly.
