PSA: I wasted $150 on a 'smart' water meter that never worked right
I bought this fancy Flume water monitor in March to track my home usage. It kept losing connection to my wifi every few days and I had to re-pair it constantly. After three months of fighting with it and two support calls that went nowhere, I finally just tossed it in a drawer. Has anyone else had bad luck with these home monitoring gadgets?

Oh man, that's super frustrating! I hate when you spend good money on something and it just lets you down like that. Did you ever figure out if the wifi issue was on your end or the meter's end? I'm just curious because sometimes my router acts up and I have to restart it, but if the meter kept dropping even when your wifi was fine, that's a real problem with the product. Three months of fighting with it sounds like a nightmare, I probably would've given up sooner than you did.

Man that sounds like a real headache. I know the feeling of throwing cash at something only to fight with it every day. Three months of that nonsense would have me pulling my hair out for sure.
