Unpopular opinion: crushed cornflakes beat rolled oats in the bowl, and it is not even close
Tried both cold with milk for a week straight back in March and the flakes stayed crispy through the last spoonful while the oats turned into paste by bite three, so if you are still calling one of these a soup based on texture alone, which bowl are you actually picturing?
Cornflakes do stay crunchier but theyre not really beating oats at anything except not getting soggy, thats kind of their whole deal. Oats are supposed to break down a bit, thats what makes them creamy instead of just milk with floaty bits in it. Sounds like you just dont like soft food and thats a whole different argument.
