TIL a stair wrap technique that saved me 3 hours
Last Thursday on a job in Phoenix, I tried wrapping carpet around the nosing instead of cutting it flush. Took me 20 minutes per step instead of the usual hour. Has anyone else tried this on bullnose stairs?

lol right? It's like my brain just refuses to see the obvious stuff until I've already wasted hours on some complicated mess that doesn't even work. I swear I've done that exact thing like a dozen times this year alone. You'd think by now I'd just stop overthinking everything and start with the dumbest possible solution first lmao. But nope, my default setting is apparently "make it 10x harder than it needs to be.
