The $15 knee kicker pad from Harbor Freight actually holds up better than my old $50 one

I was at the HF in Portland last month grabbing some consumables and saw that orange pad on clearance. Figured it would shred in a week like everything else from there. Three jobs later and its still got all its foam, no tears. My old branded one started compressing after two rooms. I only bought it cause I forgot my usual one at home. Anyone else find a cheap tool that ended up being better?

Even if it lasts a full year, that's like what, thirty bucks in savings? Not exactly life changing.

Used to think that way, but thirty bucks adds up fast when you're pinching pennies.

You said "pinching pennies" and that's exactly it. Thirty bucks is a tank of gas for me or a couple of days of groceries. It's not nothing when you're stretching everything. I'd rather have that extra cash than a subscription I barely use.
