Just realized a cheap seam roller trick for tight corners

I kept having seam edges lift in hallways with those 90 degree turns, especially near door frames. Tried a smaller roller and still missed spots. Last Tuesday I grabbed a 1 inch drywall roller from my paint stash and ran it along the seam tape before the glue set. That little roller put even pressure right into the crook, and the seam sat flat overnight. Checked two jobs since and zero callbacks. Anyone else use something odd like that for tight spots?
