Old people don't usually get emotional over carpet unless it means something deeper. Bet it reminded her of a home she had when she was young or maybe the last place she lived with her husband before he passed. Thats the kind of stuff nobody talks about when theyre selling the material side of the job. Makes me wonder what simple things trigger those memories for folks.
