Appreciation post: The old guy at the supply house in Boise was right about that seam roller
For years I just used my knee kicker to set seams, thinking a dedicated roller was extra junk in the bag. This guy insisted I try his, a Roberts 50-935, on a big commercial glue-down job last month. The seam practically disappeared, way better than my old method. Anyone else have a tool they swore was a gimmick that turned out to be a game changer?

My old boss swore by his Malco seam roller for vinyl plank. I thought it was just another gadget taking up space in the truck. Now I won't do a click lock floor without it.

What's with old guys at supply houses always being right? (I guess I'm just stubborn and hate buying new tools.) I felt the same way about my first laser level.
