Watch out for that new pressure-treated lumber from the big box store
Last week in Spokane, I had a whole batch of 2x6s warp like crazy overnight after bringing them inside. Anyone else seen this with the stuff stamped '2024'?

What's the moisture content like on those boards? I had the same thing happen with some framing lumber last month, it was practically dripping wet when I got it home. They must be rushing it out the door before it's properly dried. Makes you wonder if they're even storing it under cover at the yard.

Used to think it was just bad luck, but this keeps happening. The wood is basically green when you buy it now. Makes the whole project a waiting game before you can even start.
