Dropped $85 on a dovetail jig that sits in my garage collecting sawdust
I grabbed a dovetail jig at the Woodcraft in Denver about 4 months back thinking it would speed up my drawer builds, and after fighting with the setup on 3 different drawer boxes I went back to cutting them by hand. The bit that came with it chattered on oak so bad I had to toss two pin boards, and honestly my hand cut tails look cleaner. Does anyone actually get good results with these jigs or did I just burn $85 on a paperweight?
