I spent 2 weeks emailing HR about a pay bump after leading 3 big projects, got nowhere. Then my old manager in Austin said to just ask for a quick call, and in 30 minutes they matched what I wanted. Anyone else find that phone calls or video chats work way better than written requests for these talks?
