That Tuesday where 3 clients cancelled on me back to back

Had 3 floor installs lined up for Tuesday and they all called to cancel within 2 hours of each other. Lost about $900 in income for the week and couldn't fill the slots last minute. Anyone else have days where the scheduling gods just hate you?

Honestly, I used to think client cancellations just came with the territory and you had to roll with it. Tbh, losing nearly a grand in one day like that really shifted my perspective on how much it actually costs us. Ngl, now I make clients sign a tighter cancellation policy because that kind of hit stings too much to just shrug off.

Sorry you had to learn that lesson the hard way, but at least now you've got a policy that actually protects your time and income. Sometimes you just need that one painful hit to realize being "nice" about it is actually costing you real money.
