Spent 2 years chasing job titles, a 5-minute chat made me switch focus

I kept jumping between roles that sounded impressive but went nowhere. Then my uncle in Phoenix asked what I actually wanted to do daily, not what looked good on LinkedIn. I compared my last two jobs: one fancy title with boring tasks, one boring title with real projects. Has anyone else picked the less flashy option and seen better growth?
