Chose a 10% pay cut for a shorter commute, not sure I'd do it again

Back in March I was deciding between two jobs. One was paying $68k but a 45 minute drive each way through Austin traffic. The other offered $61k but it was a 12 minute bike ride. I took the lower pay because I figured my sanity was worth more. Now it's been like 5 months and honestly the money gap is starting to sting. My old coworker at the first place said they just did a 5% raise for everyone. Has anyone else traded salary for commute time and regretted it later or am I just being greedy?
