Took 5 hours to swap a serpentine belt because I didn't have a breaker bar
Was trying to get the tensioner pulley off on my 2008 Civic and ended up stripping the bolt with just a ratchet so had to borrow a breaker bar from my neighbor which turned a 20 minute job into an afternoon nightmare, anyone else get stuck on a simple fix because you didn't have the right tool?

My buddy spent his whole Saturday stuck under a Ford Focus doing the exact same thing.

A whole Saturday? That's brutal. Hope his floor jack didn't let go or he was using ramps, because I've heard those stories go south fast. I'd have been calling for a pizza delivery just to break the monotony.
