Saw a 2005 Honda Civic with a trash bag taped over the missing rear window listed for $4,500 on Facebook Marketplace in Phoenix yesterday
The seller claimed the bag was a custom soundproofing mod and the car just needed a new battery, so would you roll the dice on that or run the other way?

The "custom soundproofing mod" line is honestly a red flag, I'd be real suspicious of anything else they claim. A 2005 Civic with a busted window for $4,500 is way too much, you can find a cleaner one for that price if you wait a week. Maybe it just needs a battery but idk, that trash bag screams bigger issues you're gonna find after you buy it.

Oh man, that's rough. I feel for you having to deal with that level of crazy. Someone actually trying to pass off a trash bag as a soundproofing mod is just insulting your intelligence. That price is wild too, like they're hoping you're desperate or something. A 2005 Civic with a busted window should be like $1500 tops, maybe $2000 if the rest is mint. I'd run the other way and block the seller, honestly. You deserve better than someone who's gonna lie to your face about a garbage bag.
