Fixed a $150 leak on a 2004 Civic, now I'm flipping it instead of scrapping it
Bought a beat-up Civic in Reno for $900. Radiator was cracked, coolant everywhere. Shops quoted $600 to fix it. Did it myself with a $150 Denso part and a Saturday. Car runs clean now, new buyer offered $2,300 already. So many people junk these over a simple coolant line swap. Why are we so quick to toss a car that just needs a $150 part? Has anyone else saved a heap with under $200 and flipped it for profit?
