A guy in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot in Biloxi offered me $150 for my car with the cracked bumper and I almost took it
He caught me at the wrong moment after a bad day, and I was THIS close to signing the title over right there for $150 cash. Then my buddy pointed out the bumper crack is cosmetic and my AC still blows cold, so I hung onto it. Now I keep a little notebook in the glovebox and write down every repair quote before I decide anything, because that parking lot offer had me spooked. How do you all figure out when a fix is worth it versus when a car is really done for good?
