Why does nobody talk about 'Journeyman' getting a real ending?

I was in Burbank last weekend visiting a friend and we stopped by this old TV memorabilia shop. The owner had a original 'Journeyman' poster and started ranting about how it got canceled after 13 episodes with no closure. It got me thinking, that show had a solid time travel setup and a great cast but never got a chance. Has anyone else ever tried to track down the cast to see if they'd do a streaming revival?

God, don't get me started on Journeyman lol. That show had such a solid hook with the time travel and the whole "fixing people's lives" thing, and Kevin McKidd was perfect in it. I remember being so mad when it just vanished after that cliffhanger with his brother. It's wild to me that networks back then would axe something with that much potential after just one season, especially when they let other shows drag on forever. Tracking down the cast for a revival might actually work though, since Kevin McKidd is still doing Grey's Anatomy and probably has some pull. Someone just needs to get Netflix or Hulu to bite on it, because that concept is way too good to leave dead in the water.

Totally agree about Journeyman, @laura_wright. My buddy was obsessed with that show back in the day, he literally bought the DVD set even though it was only one season. He still brings it up whenever we talk about shows that got canceled too soon. You think Kevin McKidd could actually get something rolling for it again?

Is that just how things go now? You get one shot, one season, and if it doesn't blow up instantly it's gone. Happens with restaurants too, places that have great food but can't get enough foot traffic in the first month just close down. Journeyman was one of those shows that needed time to find its audience but nobody gets that anymore.
