Why does nobody ever mention how the network execs killed that show Dark Matter on Syfy?
I remember sitting in my truck after a long day of patching a leaky flat roof in Portland, flipping through channels and finding out they cancelled it after season 2, and have you actually seen how many loose threads that ending left dangling?

Man, tell me about it. I remember catching Dark Matter on a re-run one night while waiting for pizza dough to proof and got completely hooked. That cliffhanger with the alternate dimension stuff still bugs me, it felt like they just threw their hands up and walked away. Really wish streaming services would pick up shows like that instead of just pumping out their own stuff that gets cancelled after one season too.

Eric Murray, you make a good point about shows getting cancelled, but I actually disagree about streaming picking up old cancelled series. The networks cancelled Dark Matter for a reason, and bringing back shows usually just means they find new ways to disappoint fans. Sometimes it's better to let a show end on its own terms, even if that ending is messy, rather than drag it out until nobody cares anymore.
