Why did nobody warn me about the budget trap in Mindhunter?
I finally binged Mindhunter two weeks ago and got SO invested in the whole FBI profiling angle. Then I looked it up and found out they basically shelved it after two seasons, no real ending or anything. I get that Fincher is busy, but c'mon, that show had so much more to dig into with BTK and all that. Are we really supposed to just accept a silent cancellation like that, or is there any word of a third season actually happening? Has anyone else gotten burned by Netflix just leaving a good show hanging like this?

Isn't it maddening when a show hooks you and then just vanishes into the Netflix abyss like that? I feel your pain, that BTK thread alone could've carried another season or two, but they seem to just drop things cold sometimes.
