Unpopular opinion: The Santa Clarita Diet cliffhanger is the worst one ever
People keep saying it ended on a good note, but that final scene with Joel in the pit was a setup, not a conclusion. Anyone else still mad about it three years later?

Wasn't there an interview where the showrunner flat out said they had plans for another season? That's what makes it so brutal. They left Joel in a hole and Abby turning, then Netflix just pulled the plug. It's not even a real cliffhanger, it's a cancelled story. I'm still annoyed they didn't at least try to wrap it up with a movie.

Ugh, it's the same feeling as when a store puts out a great new product and then just stops making it. You get hooked on something, they leave you hanging, and you're left staring at an empty shelf forever. It makes you not want to start the next cool thing because you just expect it to get yanked away.

My favorite coffee shop had this amazing lavender honey latte for exactly six weeks last spring. I went every single Tuesday after my shift, then one day it was just gone from the menu. You get attached to a little routine, you know?
