Unpopular opinion: Rewatching 'The OA' made me see it needs one last season

I got into the habit of revisiting canceled shows instead of chasing new ones. Watching 'The OA' again showed how much story was left to tell. What show do you keep rewatching that should get another chance?

Yeah the habit of revisiting canceled shows is so real lol. I rewatch "Mindhunter" like once a year and it kills me every time. What I started doing is writing down all the loose plot points I notice during a rewatch. It helps organize the "what could have been" feeling into something solid, makes the argument for more seasons way stronger. You should try that with your OA notes.

Man, I read an article once about how shows like Firefly built such a loyal fan base AFTER they got axed. Totally applies here. The OA's ending was a huge cliffhanger, and another season could have tied it all together so well. Piper_carr has a great point about writing down loose ends, I should do that. My personal rewatch pain is "The Society" on Netflix, that cancellation hurt. The mystery was just getting good and they left everyone hanging.

My friend Amanda bought a specific notebook just for her "Dark Matter" rewatches... she's got like 27 unresolved plot points written in red ink. She watches all three seasons every fall, even though it got canned years ago. It's kind of sad how she still talks about where the story could have gone.
