The OA made zero sense to me until a stranger on a bus explained it

I hated that show for like 2 seasons, thought it was pretentious nonsense. Then this older guy sitting next to me on the 42 bus overheard me complaining and said "it's not about the story, it's about the feeling of being seen." That one line made me rewatch the finale and now I'm desperate for season 3, anyone else have a random person flip their whole take?
