That time I sat through a whole season of 'The Guest Book' and got mad all over again

I was binging old shows on Hulu last week and rewatching 'The Guest Book' from 2017. It had this weird, funny vibe that reminded me of 'It's Always Sunny' but set in a vacation rental. The show ended after two seasons with a cliffhanger about what happened to the main couple, and I swear I yelled at my TV. Does anyone else think that show deserved a proper final season to wrap things up?

@joelwells nailed it, that cliffhanger was pure torture bait (I remember pacing around my living room like a lunatic). The whole thing with the couple just vanishing without explanation felt like the universe personally pranking anyone who got invested.

Yeah I used to think the cliffhanger was kind of a lazy joke but you just made me realize it actually was a real letdown. The whole thing with the couple vanishing bugged me for days after.

Wait, they just vanished without explaining anything? Thats brutal. I remember watching that show and thinking it had so much potential, then it just ended. Really sucks when a show does you dirty like that.
