PSA: That Kickstarter for a canceled show revival turned out to be a total scam
I put $150 into a Kickstarter last fall for a show called "The Last Broadcast" that got canceled after one season back in 2018. The creator promised he had the rights and would film a new season if we hit a $50,000 goal. Six months later, he stopped posting updates and the Kickstarter page went dark. I tried emailing him and got no response. Then I found out other people on Reddit were saying he pulled the same stunt with a different show two years ago. I never saw a single minute of new footage and my $150 is just gone. Has anyone else lost money on a fan revival project that turned out to be fake?

Three major media outlets covered his first fundraising campaign back in 2019, and he still took their money. What specific details did those original donors miss that convinced them to trust him a second time around?
