Netflix killed 'Mindhunter' after 2 seasons and I'm still mad about it
Side A says the show was too expensive to make with low viewership, but Side B argues it had a cult following and critical acclaim that deserved a proper ending. Where do you land on expensive shows getting one more season to wrap up the story?

Cult following and critical acclaim don't pay the bills though. If it wasn't bringing in enough subscribers to justify the cost, Netflix had no reason to keep throwing money at it.

@jade_singh Yeah, cool shows die on that hill all the time.

I mean honestly I used to be the person who thought "but the show is so good how could they cancel it??" but seeing it written out like that kinda snapped me into reality. Netflix doesn't care about our feelings or how many people binge watched it once. They care about whether enough new people signed up because of that show. It's just math at the end of the day. And I hate admitting that because I've been burned by so many cancellations but you're right.
